In The News: Lawsuit Against Central Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas; Plaintiff Speaks Out
Samantha Boyd of FOX16 News in Little Rock sat down with Attorney Joshua Gillispie and his client, Kailen Daniel, to discuss the ongoing lawsuit against Central Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas. Daniel was groomed by a former youth pastor at the church which led to her being sexually assaulted at 18. When Daniel reported the abuse, the lawsuit alleges, Church Leadership turned a blind eye.
“How the situation was handled is not how the Bible is reflected and I hate that these type situations give Christianity a bad name,” Daniel said. “This is not Christianity.”
