Joshua D. Gillispie

Josh graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 2010. Since then, the majority of his practice has been devoted to representing Arkansans who have been injured by no fault of their own as a result of the negligence and misdeeds of others. Josh handles all types of personal injury cases, including car wrecks, truck wrecks, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and premises liability.

In 2011, Josh was awarded the Capitol Citation by the Arkansas Secretary of State for his service to the preservation of the Arkansas State Capitol Zoning District. This prestigious award was the result of Josh’s success in litigating against an attempt by developers to illegally construct buildings taller than three stories in the area immediately surrounding our state Capitol. In 2012, Josh was named to the list of “Best Personal Injury Lawyers in Little Rock” by Soiree Magazine.

Josh is a proud member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. In 2015, Josh was named to the Legislative Committee of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Josh is also a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and Pulaski County Bar Association. Josh serves on the Capitol Area Advisory Committee to the Capitol Zoning District Commission, a state agency.

Prior to law school, Josh taught college English and Literature. He holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Central Arkansas and a Bachelor Degree in English from Hendrix College, where he graduated in 2003. In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends and with his beloved dog, Annie. He also volunteers at the Pulaski County Humane Society.
